THE PROBLEM
On a chilly night when you demand another cup of hot cocoa, a child sleeps without demanding a blanket for his/her body. The next time you visit Zara, remember to stop by an area filled with children having innocent smiles and give your old clothes to them. It will be of no difference to you but it might cover the next few months for them.
“It’s never about how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
— Surbhi Jain
Are you aware of the common line for necessities, “food, cloth, and house?” You must be. We here at Jazba try to cover as many necessities as we can to the people who are unfortunate enough that this society can’t offer them a pair of clothes. You must be. The cloth donation drive was our first step to shower love on the adopted slum areas.
Drives Conducted
August 31,
2019
First Drive
This was the first ever project undertaken by us, post this drive we conducted several more to highlight the cause.
Diwali
2019
Diwali Drive
We distributed clothes on Diwali, if a single child’s face lightened up because we gave gifts (yes, used/plainclothes are a gift for them. Surprised?), then we succeeded. We donated around 100 clothes in slum areas which aren’t a very big number being an NGO but we believe that no contribution is small, team jazba has worked for the underprivileged people from the start and it will continue to work no matter what. This world is our workplace and the children our motivation.
Present
The cause never stops inspiring.
Jazba always believes that it’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.

Other Campaigns
Project Shikshalaya
Yes, the name gave it away. This is our effort to educate the young minds, to allow them to think, and to encourage them to grow up being a resource for society rather than being a burden. The members of Team Jazba visited our slum areas and provided basic education to children residing there, with the main emphasis on English and confidence build-up.
Read MoreWord With Changemakers
Change is something that has been misunderstood to a point where it is only seen as either a negative thing or something so big that a major difference could be seen with bare eyes. What we tend to miss is that every step matters, small steps taken towards the ultimate goal is better than no steps taken in the long run. Talking with the most influential people about various things that make a difference in one’s life, Jazba established a platform through which people can be encouraged to not being okay with the status quo.
